Jenny and Brian
Jenny and Brian's wedding took place in Portland on May 30th. The weather that day was glorious, Jenny was absolutely stunning and the two of them together make a very striking couple. So, lucky me!
Jenny and the girls got ready at the Eastland Park Hotel in downtown Portland, also the site of the reception.
I rode in the 'limo bus' with the guys to St. Peter's church...
Although Jenny and Brian live in Massachusetts, Jenny grew up in Maine and the family priest was able to come from Waterville to perform the ceremony. It was a beautiful mass with family members taking part. As you can see, the inside of the church is spectacular...
JUST MARRIED!
After the ceremony we all went to Portland Headlight for photos. Portland Headlight is a great spot because there is the lighthouse, a little beach and also the big stone fort. All kinds of variety for photography. It's really hard to just choose a couple to post. This week's image of the week was also from the fort.
The reception was back at the Eastland, which is a very elegant setting.
The band that performed at the reception was Top Priority, and I must say they were absolutely FABULOUS. I see lots of bands at wedding receptions and I would rate them in the top 3 that I've seen. Music quality, professionalism, and the other special qualities that a band needs that help the wedding festivities go smoothly and be a great experience for the couple and the guests.
